10 Months

I feel that Bennett is growing up too fast. I do love how much he interacts with us and he's a lot more mobile. He crawls/climbs everywhere. His walking progress has slowed. He's a pretty efficient crawler and has little interest in walking. However, he does pull himself to a standing position and walk around all the furniture.

He's saying dadada, but not on command (just jabbering) If he ever says mom it's one syllable and he's usually mad. He's learned to kick when we say kick and pat his legs when we say pat (I feel like I'm describing a puppy). Also he's recently learned squishy face which means he gives us his Asian smile! I'll have to get a picture of it.

Bennett has been a great sleeper lately. He goes to bed without a fuss and sleeps about 12 hours. It makes life so much nicer. Even with his fourth tooth coming in he's been a great baby. And this fourth tooth is stubborn. It's been back and forth for a month. I'll never understand teething.

Height: 30in
Weight: 23 1/2lbs

Likes: loves to chase mom and dad around, loves to climb on everything, loves pulling things off shelves and knocking over towers, loves to eat, loves to kick (especially in the bath)

Dislikes: Hates getting diaper and clothes changes (I don't know if that will ever change), doesn't like getting things taken away (remotes, cell phones etc.)

Recent Fun

Bennett is going through a great stage. He's really interactive and loves do do whatever we're doing. He also loves to tear down towers and pull everything off shelves. It's very destructive, but he's mostly just curious.

This how we found him one night. He was so tired he fell asleep sitting up. Good thing there was a pillow for him to rest his head on.

This is the toy Grandma and Grandpa Andreasen gave him for Christmas. He loves to dance and push all the buttons.

Christmas

This year we were able to go out to Utah for Christmas. We had a lot of fun playing with all the cousins. I'm just going to post a bunch of pictures and describe the vacation as I go.

Bennett's first time seeing Santa, I thought for sure he would cry but he was just curious!

This is my cousin Dave. He's the only person Bennett would let hold him at the party with my dad's side of the family.

This was a fun night. My sister and her family came and stayed with us at our parents. One night we put golden tickets on the kids pillows and got them ready for bed. The tickets were for the Minivan Express. When they found them they were jumping up and down they were so excited (even though they had no idea what they were for). So we loaded up the Minivan and drove around to see Christmas lights. They got to have hot chocolate and popcorn. It was fun for both the parents and the kids!

Everyone ready for bed in their Christmas jammies. Christmas Eve was lots of fun. We played lots of games and sang Christmas songs. We were glad we got to spend it with Larson family!

This is the extent of Bennett's excitement Christmas morning. Also notice he's back in his other jammies. He had a sick tummy which resulted in some industrial leakage. The present from the Larson cousins seen here is very fitting.

That's our vacation in a nut shell. We also had the chance to see lots of Lincoln's family. One outing in particular we had 7 of the 8 great-grandchildren born this year. Lots of parties, lots of food, lots of family, lots of the flu, but mostly lots of fun!

9 months

It's been crazy with the holidays and being out in Utah (post coming), so I'm a little behind.

Bennett is 9 months!

Here's the stats from the Doctor

Height: 30 in (90%)
Weight: 23 lbs (80%)

Likes: The vacuum (he chases it every time), climbing on everything (especially up the stairs), eating (he always thinks he's hungry)

Dislikes: Meal prep time, sitting still during diaper changes, getting his runny nose wiped.  

His 3rd tooth came in and the 4th is on its way. The ones coming in are not his top middle teeth but the two on the the sides. He'll be our little vampire baby!
