Birthday Boy

I have a one-year-old!! Crazy. Lincoln's sister Lillie was in her school play (High School Musical Jr.) and his sister Laura came to town with her baby. So we decided to go down to Springfield to see the play and have some cake. one year post coming soon

Not sure what to do next

His belly is too big to bend over to eat, so we helped him out a little.

Almost walking

Bennett will walk when assisted. He loves his motorcycle and has recently learned to steer it.

We love bunnies

It's really hard to get Bennett to imitate sounds. So far all we've got is dada. He loves, however, to imitate actions. I've tried to teach him several animal sounds and he just smiles. I don't know what a bunny says if anything, so I tried to teach him to scrunch his noes. This is what we came up with....

He makes a pretty darn cute bunny face. Also he knows how to shake his head no, but doesn't understand what it means. He thinks it's like any other word with an action. We're definitely in trouble when he figures it out.

Our next animal is going to be the hippo. They just open their mouths really wide...right?

Climbing

This kid climbs in and on everything! It's exhausting trying to keep up. It makes him so happy though.

This one was supposed to be a picture not a video. I was trying to capture his vampire teeth, but by the time I got the camera switched over he'd squirmed away. If you pause the very beginning you can see it.
